How to Make Tea from Fresh Olive Leaves

  • 1 gal baggie of freshly harvested organic olive leaves โ€“ rinse in cold water.
  • Spread out on aluminum foil on cookie sheet and dry in oven for 3 hours at 250 degrees F1.
  • Put the leaves in pot holding at least 3 qts.
  • Add 5 large cinnamon sticks and 1 cup of organic raisins.
  • If you prefer your tea to be a little sweeter, add 1 cup of Xylitol.
  • Pour about 2 qts (64 oz.) of boiling water over the leaves and condiments.

Tea can be ready in as little as 5 minutes but the taste will grow stronger as it seeps longer.

Tea can be served hot in cooler weather or cold in warmer weather.
